The Quail Hollow Championship Begins

The Quail Hollow Championship 2010 has begun, and normally people would care about the game of golf. However, it seems people only care about Tiger Woods who is doing terribly. One Million Five Hundred Thousand is the payday for the winner of the PGA.

The Quail Hollow Championship 2010 is actually a new name. The tournament was the Wachovia Championship (Wachovia was purchased by Wells Fargo, and it got changed to the Quail Hollow Championship) up until 2009. It is played at the Quail Hollow Club, a notoriously difficult course in Charlotte, North Carolina. Phil Mickelson is trying to win it, which the Masters champions of the last two years have failed to do, according to the PGA website.

OK, let’s get the Tiger Woods business out of the way

Since golf coverage these days is about an errant philanderer and not sport, let’s get on with it. Tiger Woods is embarrassing himself, and instant karma is beating him about the head and shoulders with a 2 over par. He’s tied for place - 102. He landed several shots in the water and did not win the Masters this year. (Though he did shoot an 11 under, which is still pretty good.)

Who has the top spots?

The current leader is Bo Van Pelt, according to the PGA leaderboard, with a 7 under par. He had seven, count ‘em, seven birdies. The next closest is Billy Mayfair, at four under par, who also had seven birdies but three bogeys to go with them. Current Masters Champion Phil Mickelson is tied for 12th with a two under par, having sank a modest brace of birdies. It’s only the first round of the Quail Hollow Championship 2010, so we shall see how this plays out.

We Dont Want Woods Back

Tiger is making a return to golf later this year and many people are thinking that they do not actually want him back.

It is true to say that Tiger has been a out for quite a while this year and that has everything to do with all of the affairs that he has been having.

Of course many golfers other than Tiger have been making it big this year with all of the competitions and they are getting all of the cheers and recognition that they deserve while Tiger is hiding away. It turns out that one of the most respected sportsmen in the world shouldn’t have been so well respected in the end.

People need to realise that there are plenty of other decent golfers who play brilliantly and treat their family with respect like Ernie Els who play hard and manage not to go astray all of the time.
Golf was seen as a very respected sport but i think that when Tiger came onto the scene that this actually did change this a fair bit. Even when teeing off you would have fans shouting “get in the hole” even if it was impossible. Hopefully the people that will go and watch Tiger now will be more traditional golf fans and people that enjoy the game for what it is, a gentleman’s game.

I am not a keen golfer myself although I did have a few lessons when I was kid it has always been my father who has been interested in the sport. Still on the occasion I will pick up my golf trolley batteries and get out there on the course. I have found that marine batteries and UPS batteries are the best ones to fit into an electronic golf trolley.

Why Does Tiger Woods Wear Red And Black Clothes?

I have recently read a about the golf player Tiger Woods. He is a very interesting character and a very good and successful golf player. It explained how he always wears red and black colours for his clothes, on the last day of each tournament. Red and black are chosen for their bold colours and it represents what his attitude is going to be on this day. He is basically saying to all of the players that he is going to just go for it, no fear, no worries, he is just going to attack. In his opinion, if he has this attitude and plays well, he will have every chance of winning the tournament. Now he obviously can not win every tournament, but he does seem to win his fair share.

Do not get me wrong I do not work within this area; I am personally involved with DVD authoring and I also sell external doors as well as working with a stuttering specialist.

I remember feeling very nervous about attending an interview. This was exactly the type of situation which I would worry and get stressed out about~I have never been very good in these types of situation and would have become very anxious about it in the past}. I would question why I was even attending the interview as I was bound to fail. This is of course an example of my negative attitude.

I soon realised that worrying was basically pointless and a complete waste of time; I needed to formulate a whole new approach to life one which focused on positivity. I decided to go and buy a new suit as the couple which I had were now old and tatty. I will never forget seeing myself in the mirror with this new suit on, I looked extremely smart and I felt very proud of myself. Just wearing this new suit gave me a huge boost of confidence. I went to the interview feeling more positive than ever and pretended I was Tiger, I was just going to go for it and see what happens.

The interview went well and the answers seemed to flow as my brain was quite relaxed. I actually quite enjoyed the meeting and am happy to let you know that I was offered the position two weeks later.
